About us

Discover Grand Hyatt Vail, Vail's premier alpine-inspired luxury resort and meeting destination recently having undergone an $80M+ transformation. Conveniently close to the village, yet set on an expansive third acre in Cascade Village surrounded by natural beauty, this mountain and creek-side resort with over 40,000 square feet of event space is an iconic setting for hosting memorable events, unique galas or to reinvent the future of your company. Boasting a combination of Vail’s largest collection of versatile outdoor and indoor spaces, you will find that Grand Hyatt Vail is the perfect venue to meet while also enjoying all the outdoor beauty and recreation Colorado has to offer. Our Cascade Ballroom is appointed with crystal chandeliers, and features expansive foyer space perfect for registration and exhibits. Join us in the summer to take advantage of our 3,200 square foot pavilion. Set next to our conference center, our Gore Pavilion provides the ability to enjoy the open air, while still being protected from the elements, it is perfect to host anything from an evening celebration to an exhibit hall. Join us in the winter, and enjoy Vail’s only resort-side open air quad lift – Chair 20 at Grand Hyatt Vail – for ski in ski out access, an onsite ski and snowboard rental shop, and ski valet services. Beyond the lift, attendees can enjoy the Zen Garden, an outdoor haven including the Grand Hyatt Vail Ice Rink, champagne tastings in the Grand Moët Yurt available in the winter months, and in the summer, outdoor fire pits and s'mores roasting. With the chairlift mere steps from our meeting and event spaces, guests can easily transition from morning meetings to afternoon laps on the slopes. Grand Hyatt's 285 sophisticated recently renovated guest rooms and suites acknowledge your outdoor-centric activities with benches and gear storage, and amenities ranging from rainfall showers and soaking tubs for tired muscles. Influenced by the area’s surrounding mountains and history, the hotel’s contemporary guestrooms and common areas offer guests an elevated modern retreat with clean lines, gentle curves and subdued patterns with rich wood, stone and leather textures. The hotel’s artwork and unique interior design touchpoints pay homage to The Southern Ute Native American tribe through local artists and artisans. Influenced by the best aspects of the Rockies, Grand Hyatt Vail will enchant you with culinary creations inspired by Colorado. Gessner, the hotels signature restaurant, showcases authentic flavors from the Colorado Rockies. Our lounge offers a fireside setting for enjoying inventive après-ski food, drink, music, conversation and floor-to-ceiling mountain views. And our fresh market is a favorite stop for active attendees who prefer quick serve and to-go gourmet foods and libations. Beyond the boardroom, delight in blissful and invigorating treatments at the alpine spa within the hotel and fitness center. Outside of the iconic world-class ski terrain, enjoy four seasons of outdoor adventures and experiences galore with mountain biking along Gore Creek, fishing, swimming, ice skating and more or simply lounging at one of the infinity pools or hot tubs and fire pit socializing.

Camp Hale-Continental Divide National Monument serves as a living testament to a pivotal moment in America’s military history. These peaks and valleys forged the elite soldiers of the famed 10th Mountain Division—the Army’s first and only mountain infantry division—which helped free Europe from the grip of Nazi control in World War II. The area is also foundational to preserving and interpreting the story of 10th Mountain Division veterans who, after their return from World War II, applied the skills they learned in the Camp Hale and Tenmile Range area to help establish America’s skiing and outdoor recreation industry
