About us

From world-class exhibits that draw people from afar, to conferences that change how the world thinks, Tākina, the new Wellington Convention and Exhibition Centre sits at the very heart of one of the most walkable capitals anywhere. Inspired by Wellington’s dramatic landscape and environment, Tākina will be home to a dedicated convention and exhibition centre across two levels. Opening in 2023, this innovative new facility will provide 10,000 square metres of multi-purpose conference and exhibition space which can be tailored to single or multiple events.
