Kelly Way Gardens is the Resort's diverse, 4-acre, certified organic garden and event space. This extraordinary garden is the brainchild of our Master Gardener, Benjamin Pauly, who hand-hoed and planted the first acre by himself. In season, the Gardens provide the Woodstock Inn & Resort with an on-site holistic food supply, giving true meaning to the phrase, "farm to fork". We specialize in over 200 varieties of fruits and vegetables, herbs and edible flowers, a mushroom glen, bee hives, fruit trees, and berry bushes, all providing culinary inspiration to our chefs who create seasonal menus inspired by the land. Adding beauty to the site upon your arrival, you will see over 50 varieties of annual and perennial flowers, used in fresh-cut flower arrangements throughout the Resort and for your event. We hope to see you in the Gardens for classes, tours, workshops, and private events or join our team for a hands-on experience harvesting fresh produce from the Gardens for your afternoon or evening meal.

Vermont Gold Vodka is pure, delicate, unflavored vodka, handmade in small batches from the sugar of maple sap, the very essence of Vermont. Each spring in New England, freezing nights and warm sunny days allow the mature maple trees to pump out the sugar which has been converted from starch and stored during the dormant winter season. The trees release this sugar as sap which flows for less than six weeks a year. The local Distiller takes over from there. Come see how this is made and taste the other specialty liquors in the local factory and enjoy the best of Vermont in the Quechee facility!

It was in the family homestead in Plymouth Notch, Vermont, that a vacationing Vice President Calvin Coolidge received an urgent message from Washington. Moments later, by the light of a kerosene lamp, Coolidge took the oath of office from his father, the local notary public, following the untimely death of President Warren Harding. The homestead remains exactly as it was the night Coolidge took office. In fact, much of the village of Plymouth Notch is unchanged since the early 20th century. The Calvin Coolidge State Historic Site is considered one of the best preserved Presidential sites in the nation. In addition to the homestead, visitors may tour the Plymouth Cheese Factory - established by the President's father - and sample the granular curd cheese produced there.
