El Ayuntamiento fue diseñado por Edward Rundle, arquitecto del séptimo duque de Bedford. Se inauguró el 2 de febrero de 1864. El edificio se construyó sobre el sitio de Mathew Street, Lower Brook Street y Lower Market Street. Construido con piedra local en estilo gótico perpendicular tardío, cuenta con una impresionante sala principal con paredes revestidas y un magnífico suelo de arce, junto con otras habitaciones históricas e interesantes, incluida la Sala del Alcalde. A ambos lados del rápido río Tavy, por debajo del extremo occidental de Dartmoor, Tavistock se encuentra en el corazón de una zona de enorme belleza natural. Ahora con áreas de cocina y bar recientemente renovadas y con nuestra licencia de ceremonia civil recientemente adquirida, el ayuntamiento se convierte en el principal lugar para bodas de Tavistock. El amable y experimentado personal está a su disposición para que su día especial sea memorable y estará encantado de transmitirle su experiencia para que la organización de su día sea lo más libre de estrés posible. This year, I performed for Arthur Blank’s Super Bowl party with Lilac Wine Trio in New Orleans, and just 2 months later, was invited to perform a solo acoustic set for The Masters and its VIP guests at an event sponsored by IBM in Augusta. I have a complete audio setup and an diverse musical repertoire that will satisfy virtually any demographic.
