The festival is held at the village’s communal house, with palankeens, offerings, folk games, etc. The joyful atmosphere and the sound of cheering drums will definitely leave you with an unforgettable impression. On the harvest season: May and June, when the rice fields are fully ripe, is also the time when tourists flock to this place. The roads in Duong Lam are covered with rice and dry straws, creating a peaceful scenery that is rarely found anywhere else. Currently, the ticket price to visit Duong Lam Ancient Village is only VND20,000 for adults and VND10,000 for children. The fee for motorbike parking is VND10,000/vehicle.

Ba Vì National Park (Vietnamese: Vườn quốc gia Ba Vì) is a national park located 60 km (1 hour) west of Hanoi, Vietnam. The park is 10,815 ha (26,720 acres) in area and is located in the Ba Vì mountain range. The park has rich and diverse tropical and subtropical species of flora and fauna. Ba Vì National Park is located in Ba Vì District of Hanoi and two districts of Hòa Bình Province, namely Lương Sơn and Kỳ Sơn. The Park is situated on a mountain range running north-east and south-west with its peak at Vua Peak of 1,296 m and Tan Vien Peak of 1,226 m and Ngoc Hoa Peak of 1,120 m. Visiting Ba Vi National Park, you can also dip yourself in its historical and cultural sites when Ba Vi is home for hundreds of relics dating back a century or more to the French colonial era. The airport is located in Phu Minh Commune in Sóc Sơn District, about 35 kilometers (21 miles) northeast of downtown Hanoi, via the Nhật Tân Bridge. It can also be reached by National Road 3, which connects it with the eastern suburbs of Hanoi. The airport is also close to some satellite cities of Hanoi such as Vĩnh Yên, Bắc Ninh and Thái Nguyên.
