Gonubie Manor, built in the 1800’s and steeped in history, was built by a settler’s family, the Mackenzie’s. Originally built as a hotel to accommodate guests far and wide. They would come from inland to the harbour to buy goods such as tea, sugar and spices. We are situated on the banks of the Gonubie River and offer surprising contrasts. Something old, something new, something Majestic, yet down to earth, grand yet graceful. The photographic opportunities are many. Lush gardens, a touch of the Lost City, horses, an old Ox wagon and many more. Today the property is home to the Amos-Brown family with a unique, Romantic Wedding, function venue, conference centre and star rated accommodation. We are proud to offer our services to your guests and can accommodate 450 guests for wedding and conferences.
