LeBauer Park & Center City Park

Park
LeBauer Park and Center City Park are collectively known as Greensboro Downtown Parks. The parks are situated directly across Davie Street from each other, anchoring Greensboro's Cultural Arts District. ​ Both parks are ADA compliant, with all access points accommodating wheelchairs and strollers. International Civil Rights Center Museum

Museum
Located in the historic F.W. Woolworth’s building—site of the February 1, 1960 sit-in that ignited the modern Civil Rights Movement—the International Civil Rights Center & Museum is a powerful and moving experience. This must-see destination features vivid photography, original artifacts, video reenactments, and interactive galleries that honor the courageous actions of the Greensboro Four—students from NC A&T State University who challenged segregation by sitting at a “whites only” lunch counter. Their bold stand became a national catalyst for change, inspiring a movement for equality and justice across America.

Guilford Courthouse National Military Park

Park
Walk in the footsteps of the American and Crown Forces soldiers along the preserved battlefield at Guilford Courthouse National Military Park. Every trail takes you through the action of the battle. Guilford Courthouse National Military Park is the site of a pivotal Revolutionary War Battle that led to the eventual surrender by British Forces. While you're there, stop at the Visitor Center to learn more about the battle, and kids can earn a Junior Ranger Badge.
