Get Your Game On- Houston Sports

On the field or on the court, Houston's home teams offer year-round competition and high-energy action for loyal sports aficionados.

Broadway Comes to Houston

Houston is a long way from the bright lights of Broadway, 1,600 miles in fact. Luckily, those miles will melt before your eyes when Broadway’s hottest shows make their way to Houston during the 2012-13 season. There are Tony Award winners, box office behemoths, something for the kids and enough nostalgia to resurrect long-dead fashion trends. Most of the fun is happening inside Sarofim Hall, with shows from Houston's own Theatre Under the Stars and Gexa Energy's Broadway at the Hobby Center. Here's a look at what is in store.

CityPASS Adventure

Historical landmark
As a native Houstonian, it’s sometimes easy to take for granted the one-of-a-kind sights that this city offers. Sure, I can tell a visitor about the shows in the Theater District or why a beer-can-covered house is worth a visit, but when was the last time I checked these places out myself? Too long, which is why I recently set out on a mission to revisit some of Houston’s most sought-after sites, looking at each of them through the eyes of a visitor.

Free Museums

Spend your day exploring Houston's museums, while saving big with a well-edited list of the city's most-loved free things to do. Fortunately, for locals and visitors alike, more than a dozen of Houston's most memorable museums won't break the bank--in fact they won't even cost a dime.
