Becketts Hotel Cooldrinagh House was described by James Knowlson, Beckett's biographer, as "a very grand house, almost a mansion, dating from 1760, with imposing pillars at the front door, a flight of stone steps and a cast iron balustrade. The design and forethought put in during the renovation allowed for a boardroom style annex to be incorporated in to the suite, allowing the guest the convenience, comfort and privacy of a smaller meeting space without having to leave their room.
