Sir Richard Branson's 74-acre private island is unquestionably the most idyllic place in the British Virgin Islands. First purchased by Richard in 1978, Necker Island is much more than the sum of its individual parts. This is the definition of a luxury private island, but our version of luxury isn’t just about top class food, the latest activities and the best facilities, although you can of course expect all of these. Visitors to the island often arrive as guests but leave as friends. You can take the island exclusively or during selected weeks you can book an individual room. Necker Island is Sir Richard Branson's home and private island. Necker sits in a stunning part of the Caribbean surrounded by coral reefs and fringed with beautiful white sandy beaches. We currently have a total of 24 guest rooms + 1 bunk room can be used as a staff room. Necker Island is typically sold for exclusive use of the entire island. Usually a minimum stay of five nights is required, however, the minimum nights of stay for Necker Island changes depending on the time of the year and the availability at the time of booking. We offer variety of water sport activities such as kite surfing, water-skiing, wake boarding, sailing, paddle boarding, kayaking, snorkeling and all the equipment are provided for you! Guests can also play tennis in one of our two floodlit Astroturf tennis courts, do yoga at various locations on the island, participate in lemur feeding, or just simply relax by one of our beaches or pools. We also have our Guest Services and Events Planning team on the island that will help with arranging the guests’ itineraries. The team can arrange team-building activities such as Beach Olympics or scavenger hunts around the island. Typically, we have themed nights for each dinner such as Moroccan Night, Casino Night, and Disco Night. We can tailor any itinerary to suit your client's needs. As an add-on to Necker Island, we can offer the Branson Beach Estate on Moskito Island which is about 5 minutes by boat from Necker Island. Perched on a dramatic outcrop demanding elevated sea views, The Branson Beach Estate at the northeast tip of Moskito Island offers a one-of-a-kind experience in the most secluded unspoiled setting in the British Virgin Islands. The Estate's three villas can be booked individually or all together on an exclusive basis , all year round. The Estate is made up of three spectacular standalone villas, connected by elevated wooden walkways, and conveniently located next to Moskito Island’s communal recreational facilities. It even has its own private beach – the epitome of barefoot luxury living. Sleeping up to 22 guests across eleven (11) rooms, the Estate includes three magnificent Master Suites and further standalone Balinese style villas, looking out at the private beach and sea.
