HOW DO I QUALIFY Eligible meeting planners will receive a credit based on the following criteria:•Meeting RFP must be shared with Visit Santa Barbara. VSB will only share the RFP with select South Coast Hotels as requested by the client. •Meeting is booked at a selected Santa Barbara South Coast Hotel. •Meeting must actualize with a minimum utilization of 100 cumulative room nights on Sunday –Wednesday nights in November, December, January or February. Qualifying programs may utilize rooms over weekend dates, however only Sunday –Wednesday nights in November, December, January or February room nights are eligible for rebate credit. The Fine Print The incentive will be calculated based only on rooms that pay the contracted room rate, or higher. Complimentary rooms, discounted rooms, rooms using loyalty programs, canceled rooms and attrition rooms are excluded. • The incentive is only offered for room nights that are assessed by the Tourism Business Improvement District (TBID). Currently this assessment is 2% of the room rate and is itemized on each folio. Room nights which are exempted from the TBID assessment are not counted as qualified rooms.
