About us

The Royal College of Music occupies a unique place in the history of musical. Founded in 1882 by The Prince of Wales, who later became King Edward VII, the College is today one of the world’s leading music conservatoires, with over 600 students from more than 50 different countries. Situated in an impressive Victorian building and enjoying an unrivalled location directly opposite the world-famous Royal Albert Hall, the RCM offers itself as a unique venue for private and corporate events. RCM musicians are available to perform background music at corporate functions, private parties, events, and weddings. A wide range of soloists and ensembles are available and bookings are individually tailored to suit requirements. A high emphasis is placed on the musicians’ presentation, professionalism and appropriate programming.
