The Vanderbilt is a 19th century Grade II listed building combining historical features and modern style. This hotel is less than five minutes’ walk from the world famous Natural History Museum, Science Museum, Victoria and Albert Museum and Royal Albert Hall, home of the BBC Proms festival. Harrods, Harvey Nichols and the rest of Knightsbridge's exclusive boutiques are only a few minutes’ walk away, as are the attractive green spaces of Hyde Park. 12 meeting rooms can host events for between 2 and 140 people, while a 24 hour fitness room is available for a little revitalisation. The Vanderbilt's 215 bedrooms include doubles, business class and dedicated family rooms as well as 1 suite. All offer luxurious 350 thread count Egyptian cotton bedding, Vi-Spring beds, down pillows, Italian marble bathrooms, elegant decor and bespoke layouts, thanks to the building's heritage as a row of 19th century Victorian townhouse. We recently commissioned Compliant Venues Ltd, an independent consultancy, to audit, assess and train 6 of our London hotels. The facilities at our Vanderbilt hotel lend themselves well to smaller meetings, such as advisory boards, speaker meetings and HCP training programmes, as well as being particularly appropriate for internal meetings, due to the quieter Kensington location, away from the city.
