Serena Rooftop Restaurant
Serena Rooftop Restaurant
On-Site at the MOXY South Beach! CHANNELING OAXACA'S ROOFTOPS Ascend the staircase to Serena, our rooftop bar and restaurant that channels the enchanting, alfresco patio dining of Oaxaca and Mexico City. Here on our vibrant, lushly planted terrace, take in the laid-back yet sophisticated vibe like no other place in South Beach. Known for shareable dishes and a mod take on Latin and Mexican cuisine, Serena welcomes buzzy brunches with live music, tasty nibbles at sunset and the infamous Miami after-party. Inspired by the brightly hued works of the great Modernist architect Luis Barragán, Serena's garden-like outdoor dining area is a vibrant mosaic of pink, orange, coral, and blue, limewashed for added depth and warmth and offset by terracotta and white stone floors in an ombré pattern. Diners can choose among the fun and eclectic arrangements of plush sofas, overstuffed banquettes, swinging barstools, cushioned wrought-iron chairs, and ceramic-tile tabletops — all surrounded by native Mexican flowering plants set under a domed cast iron canopy that's strung with twinkling lights and fragrant bougainvillea. Reminiscent of the traditional markets of Michoacán, Tepoztlán, and other Mexican locales, the space includes an outdoor kitchen where freshly ground cornmeal is cooked to order on a comal. The greenhouse-like bar has glass garage doors that open to the warm beach breezes. Inside, the lounge has blue-painted beam ceilings and mosaic tiles reminiscent of an antique fountain. Chilled-out tunes emanate from the semicircular DJ booth composed of breezeway blocks, stationed beneath a purple-toned wall with a neon sign reading "LA ULTIMA Y NOS VAMOS" ("Last one and we're leaving").

Phuc yea
Phuc yea
Davie, multi-city
Who we are Undoubtedly tongue in cheek, the word "Phuc" actually means "blessings and prosperity." Not only is “Phuc” the best word in the UrbanDictionary, but it actually means something positive - Phuc Yea! In 2011, Phuc Yea opened in downtown Miami as the city's first pop-up concept. Fueled by old school hip hop, graffiti and a love for life, Zapata and Meinhold's rendition of Vietnamese cuisine is deeply inspired by family recipes as well as the flavors of the Mekong, but fused with their personal experiences and cooking styles. The food is distinctly 'theirs', vibrant, bold and layered. Half Colombian, half Viet, this is not your classic Viet spot. It’s next level Vietnamese; we have created our own style and flow. Phuc Yea’s culinary inspiration is a mash up of Meinhold’s ethnic heritage and Zapata’s culinary background. Ani, as Meinhold is known, is Vietnamese on her mother’s side and many of the classic recipes on the menu stem from family recipes and traditions. Leave your expectations at the door - no pho, no noodles, 100% conceptual. Today, Phuc Yea has matured and found its brick-and-mortar home in the heart of Miami's MiMo district, an historically designated neighborhood famous for its Art Deco architectural style. Built in the former Sir Williams Hotel, Phuc yea sprawls the first level of the building. The space is separated into three areas, a more sophisticated setting offers a lush lobby lounge anchored by a 15' raw bar just at the main entrance of the space perfectly set for oysters and cocktails, speakeasy-esque dining room with private and semi private dining zones are located in the mezzanine level, and the Lantern Garden during the cooler months is in the rear patio. Decor is a combination of mid-century modern sleekness, street art and traditional Asian accents.

A Fish Called Avalon
A Fish Called Avalon
Miami, multi-city
A Fish Called Avalon offers an elegant yet relaxed take on modern American seafood with tropical influences, right in the heart of South Beach. The food is widely praised for its freshness, generous portions, and creative preparations—favorites include the Macadamia-Crusted Snapper with spinach risotto, citrus chicken, and the signature orzo paella brimming with fresh seafood and lobster. Dishes like Bang Bang Shrimp and Burrata appetizers add a twist, and desserts like the award-winning Key Lime Pie and homemade gelato round things out impressively. Beyond the plate, the ambiance stands out: think stylish Art Deco atmosphere, floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Ocean Drive, and often live Caribbean, Latin, or jazz music. Service is consistently noted as warm and professional, creating an inviting experience whether you’re dining indoors or alfresco on the patio. It’s a favorite spot for both special occasions and casual nights out, offering a perfect blend of fine dining and classic Miami Beach vibe.
