Has your hotel taken steps to reduce single-use plastics, such as removing plastic straws (except upon request for guests with disabilities), stirrers and cotton buds? If yes, please provide detail as to the steps you have taken to reduce single use plastics?
We continually strive to reduce the use of single use plastics. In line with the Monegasque regulations, we no longer use plastic Q-tips or plastic straws at the bar, and we do not use single use plastic dishes or cutlery. As of January 2020, all small plastic bottled bathroom amenities have been removed and replaced with dispensers. Our glass water bottles can be returned. Plastic water bottles in our minibars have been replaced with almost indefinitely recyclable aluminium cans. Our room keys are made of bamboo. We introduced virtual business cards.
