Cancellation Policy
Patron acknowledges that MOCA’s facilities are being reserved for the Event specified above. Minor changes may be made in writing up to 24 hours before the event. Major changes must be agreed upon by both parties at least 48 hours before the event. Failure to inform MOCA of such changes may result in additional charges. Accordingly, if Patron cancels the Event, Patron shall provide written notice of cancellation to MOCA at least ten (10) business days prior to the Event. The Deposit is non-refundable. If Patron cancels the Event within ten (10) business days of the Event, Patron is responsible for fifty percent (50 %) of the remaining Total Event Fees as noted above. Neither Patron nor MOCA shall be liable for a breach or violation of the terms of this Agreement if such breach or violation is due to a cause beyond either Party’s reasonable control (including but not limited to fire, flood, earthquake, hurricane, or other natural disaster, war, terrorist activities, strike, labor dispute or unrest, lockout, any delay in essential construction or renovation of the MOCA premises, or interruption or failure of electricity or telecommunications service). If an event must be canceled for any such reasons (force majeure) Patron and MOCA will make reasonable efforts to reschedule the Event for a mutually convenient date.
