This historic world-famous landmark in Midtown Manhattan is not simply a transportation hub — it’s also a shopping, dining, and cultural destination with 60 shops, 35 places to eat, and a full calendar of events all under one magnificent roof. Opened to the public in February 1913, Grand Central Terminal is a story of great engineering, survival, and rebirth. In 1978, architect Philip Johnson and First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis campaigned to secure landmark status for the Terminal, ensuring the building would serve New Yorkers for generations to come.

Moynihan Train Hall
Moynihan Train Hall
Historical landmark
1 mi
The century-old Farley Post Office building has officially transformed into a new passenger hall for travelers—right across Eighth Avenue from the existing Penn Station structure. Moynihan Train Hall features a spacious, light-filled atrium with a 92-foot-high glass skylight and soaring ceilings honoring the design of the original Penn Station. The new 255,000-square-foot Train Hall expands Penn Station's concourse space by 50%, which is more spacious than Grand Central’s main concourse. The second-story mezzanine will be home to dining and retail, a one-acre sky-lit atrium, a signature clock, cutting-edge technology, clear wayfinding, full accessibility, and museum-caliber public art, expanded waiting areas, free public WiFi throughout the transit center, and a dedicated lounge for nursing mothers. The main hall, which once served as the Post Office's mail sorting room, is reminiscent of the original Penn Station's vaulted concourse and uses the same marble (from the same Tennessee quarries) as that at Grand Central Terminal. Its clock, which is suspended from the central truss, is meant to evoke nostalgia for the golden age of rail travel. Moynihan, named after the late Senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan, will be the home of the Long Island Railroad (LIRR) and Amtrak. This makes your hotel more convenient when arriving from Long Island, the Amtrak corridor from Boston to DC and Upstate NY.

The Crossroads of the World The ads on the giant screens at One Times Square – where the New Year’s Eve ball drops every year – might change, but the energy of the intersection has only grown with time. it's nice to just walk around Times Square and take in all of the lights from the massive electronic billboards. Times Square encompasses the Theatre District and sits in the center of Midtown Manhattan. Central Park, Penn Station, and Rockefeller Center are all within easy walking distance, as well as Hell’s Kitchen, which is not as scary as it sounds and actually is home to a number of noteworthy bars and restaurants and my favorite Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum. Times Square sits in the heart of Manhattan’s Theatre District, spanning West 42nd to West 47th Streets across Broadway and Seventh Avenue. Some sources extend this designation to 40th and 53rd Streets and 6th to 9th Avenues.

Pier 17 New York
Pier 17 New York
New York
Located in New York City’s founding neighborhood, Pier 17 is drenched in history. A stone’s throw from the Financial District and The World Trade Center, the area has more recently been synonymous with Wall Street workers and tourists visiting the 9/11 Memorial. But this summer changes all that with the re-launch of Pier 17 at the Seaport District NYC. Home to the Seaport Museum and the city’s largest concentration of restored maritime buildings, Pier 17 is being reclaimed for New Yorkers via dynamic food, drink, art, architecture, retail, and entertainment concepts that foster community and engage the city’s denizens, year-round. Pier 17 and the surrounding Seaport District comes out of its tourist trap shadows as its new tenants incorporate the neighborhood’s rich past, while embracing its future as a port of discovery. For history buffs, Pier 17 is one of the most interesting places in NYC. The economic growth of New York in the first half of the 19th century was driven by the Port of New York’s position as an import–export exchange and cargo center for emerging American and global markets. The Seaport and Pier 17 became a gateway for international shipping, maritime activities and the wholesale fish trade. South Street was known as the “Street of Ships” and the Wavertree, which is docked alongside Pier 17 to this day, arrived in New York City in 1895 en route to Calcutta with jute cargo aboard. The ship was acquired by the South Street Seaport Museum in 1968 and went through a 16-month, $13 million restoration. “These are the kinds of ships that built New York,” says Jonathan Boulware, executive director of the South Street Seaport Museum. A hub of commercial virtue (the finance, sea trade and printing press businesses were all located in this dense port) and accompanying vice (the area is home to some of the city’s oldest drinking dens, which played host to all manner of illicit activities back in the day), the Seaport was the first 24-hour district in New York, hence the phrase “the city that never sleeps”.

Rock 'n Roll Team Building
Atlanta, multi-city
Connection. Creativity. Chaos (the fun kind). Available all over the USA! Forget the icebreakers and trust falls. This is team building that cranks up the volume and gets your people actually connecting — not just collecting another tote bag. We take your team, hand them a mic (sometimes literally), and turn a room of colleagues into a full-blown rock choir. It’s equal parts live music, laughter, storytelling, and spine-tingling harmony — all tailored to your event. Here’s What You Get: • 🎸 Live Music that kicks like a drum solo at Wembley • 🎤 Storytelling that hits the heart (and the funny bone) • 🎶 3-Part Harmony Choir — no singing skills required, just good vibes • 🤘 Audience Improv — spontaneous, unforgettable, and never awkward • 📝 Custom Song Creation that ties your event together with a chorus your team will hum all the way home Perfect for: • 🚀 Launching big ideas • 🔋 Energizing the middle of a long agenda • 🎉 Ending on a high that actually gets remembered We’ve done this with 10 people. We’ve done it with 2,500. Either way, we bring the same stadium-worthy energy. We’re fronted by Grammy-nominated INXS frontman Ciaran Gribbin, backed by world-class musicians, and powered by pure rock ‘n roll spirit. This isn’t “team building.” It’s a shared experience that gives your people goosebumps, grins, and genuine connection. Ready to shake things up? Let’s talk. "Best Team Building I've ever booked. Ciaran and the band were great." Arrow Electronics "It was absolutely the best team event I have ever run or attended." Lamb Weston "I can honestly say that Rock 'n Roll Team Building is the best event experience I have ever seen at a conference." Jazz Pharmaceuticals
