Nerong Community Centre is the newest 'jewel' in Great Lakes Councils community hall facilities range. Completed and officially opened in December 2009, the Nerong Community Center was designed and constructed along environmentally sound principles, with the colors and lines of the surrounding natural environment mirrored in its appearance. The Nerong Community Center is the major focus for many, varied community and social activities and has proved itself a very valuable and popular addition to its community. The center is managed by the Nerong Progress Association on behalf of Great Lakes Council.
