Het Grand Hotel des Iles Borromees is gelegen in Stresa, aan de oevers van het Lago Maggiore en combineert weelderige elegantie en traditie met de charme van de Italiaanse luxe Grand Hotels. Dit kleine stukje paradijs ligt vlakbij Milaan en is gemakkelijk te bereiken vanaf de belangrijkste luchthavens van Noord-Italië, de luchthavens Malpensa en Linate. Het biedt 156 goed uitgeruste kamers en 15 vergaderzalen voor allerlei speciale evenementen. De lounges zijn ingericht in weelderige tinten blauw, paars en goud, de prachtige suites zijn een mix van luxe en ultramoderne gemakken. In de elegante eetzaal met uitzicht op het meer of van ons restaurant kunnen gasten genieten van een werkelijk unieke gastronomische ervaring, waarbij ze genieten van de smaken van een lokaal geïnspireerde keuken en bijgestaan door onze zeer bekwame obers.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing.
