Since 1981, Blue Note has been a cultural institution in New York City and one of the premiere jazz clubs in the world. Owner and founder Danny Bensusan had a vision to create a jazz club in Greenwich Village that would treat deserving artists with respect, while allowing patrons to see the world’s finest jazz musicians in a close, comfortable setting. Artists who had stopped playing in jazz clubs decades before, such as Sarah Vaughn, Lionel Hampton, Dizzy Gillespie, Stanley Turrentine, Oscar Peterson, Ray Brown, and Tito Puente, soon called Blue Note home.

Culinary Artistas was founded on the idea that cooking is a language that connects us to our cultures, bodies, minds, souls, and most of all, to each other. Our vision is to create an inspiring and inclusive space for people to celebrate, cook and explore. We are located in San Francisco’s historic Ghirardelli Square, a place that exemplifies our beautiful city’s celebrated food culture. From private venue rentals to kids cooking classes, we welcome you to our space! Our studio can be rented for private parties, off-sites/team building, pop-ups, weddings, cooking competitions, and more. We also offer kids cooking classes that enable kids to explore the world of real foods, expand their palates, and forge a lifelong healthy relationship with cooking and eating. The system uses approximately 30 speakers allocated to the hall to realize the music experience where the performance of the artists, orchestras, and/or a band actually surrounds the audiences.
