Salterra, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa, Turks & Caicos is located in South Caicos, an exclusive haven beyond the most populous islands of the archipelago. South Caicos is a destination with a soul all its own. The following are the carbon offsetting options offered by Marriott International & Salterra: ● Customer Choice (customer pays) - Customer purchases carbon offset through Marriott's climate collaborator, South Pole, or may choose their own provider. ● Seamless Service (customer pays) - Hotel purchases carbon offset on customer’s behalf and posts the cost to the customer master bill. *Note: South Pole must be used as the provider. ● Offset Included (hotel pays) - Hotel chooses to offer carbon offset as sales concession with General Manager and Finance Leader approval.

We have partnered with FortisTCI and have installed solar panels on top of our guest buildings that will produce an estimated 677 MWh of renewable energy annually, avoiding approximately 484.3 metric tons of carbon emissions. This is equivalent to the carbon sequestered by 571 acres of forest.
