The original Club House which was completed in 1916 has been altered and enlarged many times over the years. Major renovations and refurbishments were carried out before the centenary celebrations in 2007 and we now have a Club House befitting our status. The lounge and Bar are elegantly and comfortably furnished and the views over the course to the sea are splendid. The conference/function room has equally as good a view as does the dining area adjacent to the kitchen. Most golfing essentials and clothing can be purchased at the pro shop situated at the entrance to the club house. The ladies and men’s locker rooms are extremely functional and well appointed. Royal Port Alfred is an ideal venue to host corporate golf days. It is centrally situated in the Eastern Cape and there are a number of accommodation establishments nearby offering excellent value for money. Corrie van Zyl, the club manager, will ensure that these days are well organized and successful.
