The Idea Hotel Catania Ognina is one of the most popular hotels in Catania, it is located on the seafront promenade just in front of the marina and only 4 kilometers from Catania. The hotel can easily be reached from the main roads and from Fontanarossa airport (12 km away). Some rooms have sea views while from others you will admire the magnificence of Mount Etna. Children up to 16 years old will benefit from free accommodation if they share the room with their parents. Every morning the staff offers a continental buffet breakfast which includes all that you need to start well your working or vacation day: cakes and homemade biscuits, fresh and in syrup fruit, a wide range of cereals, fruit juices and a great variety of cold cuts, cheese and eggs. The hotel features three meeting rooms provided with meeting equipment and awash in natural light. The rooms can host meetings and conferences accommodating up to 150 persons. Snacks and lunch breakfasts can be served in the adjacent room.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
