Giraffe Ranch offers five kinds of intimate safaris, each led by experienced driver-guides. Firstly, we offer drive-thru safaris where you stay in your own vehicle and follow your guide in a lead vehicle providing real-time commentary though an FM transmitter that you can hear on your FM car radio. Secondly, we offer a safari in our customized 4-WD tour vehicles. You will be safe, comfortable and get a terrific view, as each vehicle is fitted with shade canopies and stadium seating. You will learn about native and exotic animals and their habitats from your safari guide. You will see our ongoing conservation efforts with endangered species including some that are extinct in the wild. Lastly, you may choose a guided custom safari by camel-back, by riding one of our off-road Segway X2s or by walking with one of our llamas. Many of our visitors have experienced all five types of Giraffe Ranch Safaris. Each safari is unique and dynamic with no two ever being the same.
