Hilton Singapore Orchard represents Hilton’s flagship presence in the heart of Orchard Road, Singapore’s premier shopping and entertainment district. Sustainability is a key focus for Hilton Singapore Orchard, having achieved the GSTC certification in 2024. Through 'Meetings, Elevated', a curated, sustainably-driven MICE program by Hilton Singapore Orchard, the hotel continues to lead in its sustainability initiatives while delivering exceptional venues for extraordinary events. The program focuses on 3 key pillars - Gather, Nourish, and Impact. 'Gather' highlights the importance of gathering sustainably through measurement of carbon footprint using Hilton's award winning LightStay management platform's Meetings Impact Calculator. The report details the total carbon footprint across energy, waste, and water consumption, and can be offset through carbon credits with ClimeCo, funded by the hotel. Climate-conscious menus fall under the 'Nourish' pillar. Hilton Singapore Orchard partners with likeminded vendors for locally produced and sustainably sourced ingredients and superfoods, incorporated in the coffee breaks and lunch menu at Estate buffet restaurant. The 'Impact' pillar provides opportunities for companies to give back to the local community CSR efforts and/or supporting local businesses through activations with our network of partners. Yes, Hilton is committed to reducing waste across our portfolio. All of our hotels were required to remove plastic straws, stir sticks and cocktail picks in 2019, and we are currently transitioning from individual bath toiletries to full-size dispensers.
