Barnston Island

Views of the Fraser River are the highlight at this regional park, which consists of two small sites at opposite ends of the island. At the eastern end is Mann Point. At the western tip, you’ll find Robert Point with river views as well as picnic tables, washrooms and trails. Access to Barnston Island Regional Park is by ferry. Check the ferry status before heading to the park at British Columbia, Barnston Island Ferry website for travel advisories, schedules, and restrictions. The Barnston Island ferry runs across Parsons Channel on the south side of the Fraser River between Barnston Island (north bank) and Port Kells (south bank). Port Kells is in the northeast corner of Surrey at the bottom of 104th avenue.
