Kasbah Tamadot, Morocco - Virgin Limited Edition is Sir Richard Branson's divine hideaway set in the foothills of the Atlas Mountains in Marrakesh. Just 45 minutes from Marrakesh airport, Kasbah Tamadot is home to 42 rooms and suites (for up to 82 people) and can be hired for small groups and on an exclusive basis. This Moroccan retreat allows for absolute rest and relaxation or, if preferred, is ideally located for exploration of the mountains by foot, bike or mule! Many of the staff members are employed from the nearby villages, providing guests with genuine Berber hospitality and the feeling of staying in a Moroccan home.

Take a trip to visit our neighbouring Eco-Museum. Just a 5 minute walk from Kasbah Tamadot, on the edge of the Toubkal National Park. Gain an insight into the surrounding area’s natural and cultural resources. Open daily from 9am-4pm.
Cooking lessons

The cookery lessons are hands-on interactive sessions where our chefs will walk you step-by-step through how to make some of our more popular dishes. Sessions take place in the morning and afternoon and last approximately three hours. Each budding chef will have their own cooking station where they’ll create a delicious three course meal including salads, soup, tagines and dessert. Then you’ll have the pleasure of eating your culinary delights for dinner that evening!

Scale the landscape adjacent to Kasbah Tamadot climbing to a lookout point providing panoramic views of the Asni and Imlil valley. This is an intermediate walk which begins on the trail opposite the Eve Branson Foundation Shop. The trail is clearly marked and the gentle winding path makes it suitable for all abilities. Please inform a member of the reception team beforedeparture and if you need guidance locating the start of the trail.

Follow the road past the Kasbah up to the village of Imlil. From here take an off road track to the highest village in North Africa– Armed (2000m). An excellent traditional Berber lunch is served on the highest roof terrace of the village with stunning views down the mountain. Please be aware that there are sections of road with steep drops on the side.

Kasbah Tamadot, Morocco - Virgin Limited Edition has a fabulous outdoor infinity pool offering stunning views of the mountains and the valley below. There is also a spa area offering idyllic treatments and a traditional Moroccan Hammam – a real experience not to be missed! There are two outdoor floodlit tennis courts, along with a fully-equipped gym. Enjoy cooking classes and demonstrations with our chefs or interact with the people from local villages on our community tours. In the evenings you can stargaze from the roof terrace overlooking the valleys. Moroccan and international cuisine is served up by our friendly team of chefs and you’ll be able to host parties and entertainment into the night. You can explore the local area or relax by the pool. Alternatively, we can also organise 4x4 sightseeing excursions, day trips to the souk, (the shopping and bazaar district of Marrakech) golf and mule trekking. Once you return to Kasbah Tamadot, we’ll organise cocktails and canapés as you sit in the majestic surroundings of the reflection pool. Later, what better way to round off a day than with a traditional Berber feast on the rooftop terrace?! If there’s something in particular that excites your taste buds, our chefs will be delighted to design bespoke menus for you. If there’s no escaping work, Kasbah Tamadot has some fantastic places to host meetings and group sessions, ranging from the roof terrace and Kanoun Restaurant to the pool bar terrace and Asmoun Lounge. Restrictions may apply if not hiring the property exclusively.
