About us
King's College occupies a secluded and beautiful site of over 100 acres on the south side of Taunton, and just a few minutes from the town centre. The main building is an outstanding example of nineteenth-century architecture, and the School Chapel is a striking blend of ancient and modern. The King's Theatre was opened in January 2000, and seats 250 delegates in comfortable, raked seating. A smaller Conference room can accommodate up to 50 people, and other syndicate rooms are available in and adjacent to The Theatre. The Woodard Room is a lofty, spacious, beamed and prestigious setting for any meeting. This was once 'Big School', and housed all the teaching when the school moved from the centre of town in the 1880s.
