About us

A five star hotel managed by the owners, placed at 80 meters from the beach, at 800 meters from the National Museum of Paestum and from the Archaeological Site. All the rooms have a private little terraces have a delightful view of the sea. The suits of about 65sm, are characterized by two different rooms, a living and sleeping area, this one is supplied with a wardrobe. All the suits have a beautiful terrace looking at the sea. The Mec Paestum Hotel restaurant is characterized by a kitchen which is highly careful to the care of the details and by a remarkable service competence giving high quality results. A refined and relaxing sitting room, lately embellished by a restyling has made the room cozier and welcoming. Everything makes this place suitable for a drink, perfect to spend the night sipping a drink with friends and listening to music. The swimming pool is surrounded by a private wonderful park where it's possible to walk among the trees and read a book plunged into a relaxing atmosphere. On the swimming edge our personnel can offer you snack or a drink. Meeting and conference center provided with the most modern and elaborate equipping halls from 100 to 1000 seats.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
