About us

Castello Rosso is set in the middle of an English-style park between Cuneo and Saluzzo, Castello Rosso, an ancient abode of the aristocracy dating back to the 15th Century, has returned to life, offering moments of peace in harmony with life, in an environment steeped in history. The Castle, which includes a hotel, restaurant, Meeting Center and Beauty Center, is far removed from noise and pollution, and is the ideal place to spend some pleasant days of work and/or vacation. Hotel has 25 rooms for accommodation. The quality of service and minute attention paid to every detail makes every trip to Castello Rosso rich with style and comfort. It is perfectly adapted to meetings and seminars, for which clients are increasingly looking for places far from the city, preferring destinations that are both functional and relaxing. Meeting rooms are available to host conferences, seminars and conventions.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.

Simple And Fun Each Tourist Scavenger Hunt is around 40 steps, 2-3 hours in duration on a 3-4km circuit which brings you back to the start.
