The NEWLY RENOVATED Crowne Plaza Toronto Airport Hotel, is a convenient location for meetings and events attendees travelling in by airplane, car, or UP Express. The hotel is only 3.2 KM from Toronto’s Pearson International Airport, all of Toronto’s 400 series highways connect outside our doors, and the hotels complimentary airport shuttle will take attendees to Toronto’s Union Pearson (UP) Express. Meeting, tradeshow, and amateur sporting event attendees will appreciate the hotels close proximity to The Toronto Congress Centre, The International Centre, Pearson Convention Centre, Paramount Fine Foods Center, and all of the many hockey arenas and soccer fields in the surrounding area. In the renovation process, the hotels meeting space was reconfigured with the convenience of meeting organizers and attendees in mind. All five breakout rooms, including two boardrooms with built in boardroom tables, are located on the lobby level of the hotel. All Lobby level meeting rooms feature natural light and state of the art built in audio visual equipment. The 4400 sq. ft. Algonquin Ballroom, with its oversized foyer, is located on the lower level of the hotel. This space was transformed and is fantastic place for a meeting, tradeshow, or a meal event. The ballroom is equipped with flying projectors and built in screens as well as versatile lighting to enhance any event. Our certified, dedicated Crowne Meetings Team is ready to work with meeting and event organizers to handle all requirements and ensure satisfaction for all. At The Crowne Plaza Toronto Airport, guests will also experience culinary delights from Executive Chef and F&B Director, Tony Fernandes and his team. Chef Fernandes, is a Worldchefs Master Chef and Worldchefs Certified Executive Chef, as well as a Master Craftsman of the UK’s Cookery and Food Association. Known for his ability to fuse global flavors with top quality foods Chef Tony has had the privilege of working in different parts of the world at the best five- star deluxe hotels in India, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, and has personally catered to celebrities and prominent political figures. Chef Tony brings all of his experience and love for food to The Crowne Plaza and delivers with style and charisma. Guest will experience his culinary delights in the event space, room service and in the hotels new restaurant, The Cannery Kitchen & Social.
