Hotel Restaurant de Boegschroef is a unique hotel located on the harbor promenade overlooking the marina. Considering the busy life in, at and on the water, at their hotel no two days are quite the same. Within walking distance you will find the town center of Delfzijl, the beach and the bus/train station offering various possibilities for day trips. Delfzijl turned into an important home base for coastal shippers. Thus the harbor became a center for carriers, seamen and wharfs. On the old trading embankment, its current harbor boulevard, there are various recreational establishments, shipping companies and the hotel "De Boegschroef".

We figured if we’d have fun building and testing these Tourist Scavenger Hunts, you would also enjoy doing them. This new way of discovering a city via a walking tour with various challenges is a great way to learn about its history and discover its layout. Simple And Fun Each Tourist Scavenger Hunt is around 40 steps, 2-3 hours in duration on a 3-4km circuit which brings you back to the start.
