On a hill near the medieval town of Celle sul Rigo, between Val d’Orcia and Val di Chiana, stands the Il Poggio Holiday Farm. The Farmhouse, the central building of the farm, offers a peerless view that spreads over Valle del Rigo, the Radicofani stronghold, Monte Amiata, Monte Cetona, up to Valle dell’Elvella which is bordered in perspective from the town of San Casciano dei Bagni. The resort has many sleep rooms and also has a space for conducting weddings and events. Also the resort provides with all the basic services to its guests and is nearby many local attractions.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
