Philbrook Museum of Art

The former home of colorful oilman Waite Phillips, this Italian-style villa is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and houses Italian Renaissance works in oil and sculpture, as well as ancient, classical and Oriental pieces. The nationally renowned Philbrook Museum, which was featured in the television series "America's Castles", offers national: * Touring exhibitions * Lecture series * Films * Special events * 23-acres of English-style formal gardens, which have under-gone the largest renovation and expansion ever done to the museum's gardens.
