Romano’s Hotel is one of the best pubs in country New South Wales. It originally opened on the 4th of July 1857 under the name The Commercial Hotel and later was renamed by Azzalin Orlando Romano in 1946 and Romano’s Hotel was born. It is now made up of the Main Bar with a jukebox, pool table and a dance floor, our restaurant ‘Eat’, The Cocktail bar ‘Lounge’, three Function rooms The Chandelier, The Ambassador and The Sapphire, forty seven Hotel rooms, one large Al Fresco dining area and one beer garden. Romano’s Hotel has a long and proud association with Rugby Union in the Riverina and is undisputedly the 'Home of Rugby' in Wagga Wagga. We show every live game of the Super 14 each week during the season and also every test match. Romano’s Hotel is the best place to watch sport in town no matter what the code. Racing in Wagga is also very big and Romano’s Hotel is the place to be afterwards, with the biggest nights of the year being Wagga Gold Cup, Australia Day Races and Wagga Ag Races.
