About us
Welwyn Garden City Golf Club was founded in 1923 and is the home Club of Sir Nick Faldo and Walker Cup player. The Club has the reputation for consistently providing members and guests with one of the best courses in Hertfordshire. It also offers excellent dining and drinking facilities, and a warm, friendly welcome. We are happy to host a variety of days ranging from small societies to large corporate or charity days and are in the vicinity of three reasonably priced hotels and a vast number of local bed and breakfast establishments. Our bars offer a place to relax and discuss the issues of the day with a drink and snack of your choice. They are also the venue for the majority of our social events. Our dining room caters for functions of all types from buffets to gourmet meals. The chef prides herself on serving freshly cooked, well prepared modern cuisine and she will also design menus to suit individual requirements. Functions in the dining room are catered for numbers between 15 and 85 for sit down meals. When not in use as a dining room, our upstairs room is an ideal place for meetings, seminars and training sessions.
