Welcome to The Hoban Hotel in Kilkenny, a vibrant place to stay, meet and socialise. Located within Kilkenny Retail Park, the hotel is just 15 minutes walk from the famous marble city. The hotel is named for James Hoban (1755-1831), a pioneering Kilkenny-born architect who designed and built America’s White House. Following a 1 million euro renovation programme, the lobby, bar and restaurant have been completely transformed and we’ve introduced brand new menus with a choice of delicious food and drinks. We have also refurbished our 4 conference rooms making them the ideal spot for training, interviews and meetings. Car parking and Wi-Fi are both complimentary. We have 80 spacious guest rooms suitable for corporate guests, groups of friends or families. We also offer fully accessible rooms for wheelchair users or those with reduced mobility. Our team make the atmosphere of the hotel what it is. Down to earth, friendly and knowledgeable, we are here to help. We have the inside track on all things Kilkenny so whether it’s the hot spots of the city or the hidden gems of Ireland’s Ancient East, we can point you in the right direction.
