Locations & Directions The Old Course Hotel, Golf Resort & Spa overlooks the infamous 17th Road Hole of the Old Course and is only a short stroll from the heart of the town of St Andrews. Only one hour’s drive from Edinburgh and one and a half hours from Glasgow, the resort makes an excellent base for touring the Kingdom of Fife, Perthshire and the Highlands. Old Station Road St Andrews, Scotland KY16 9SP By Road Just off the A91, immediately adjacent to the St Andrews Links courses and a five-minute walk from the heart of the town. The A91 joins with the national motorway network at Junction 8 of the M90, which runs from Scotland’s capital city, Edinburgh, one hour to the south to the old market town of Perth in the north. Glasgow is 90 minutes away, via the M90 and M8. By Rail Guests arrive at Leuchars Railway Station four miles away, which connects with Edinburgh and the national network. Regular services to London and all mainland UK station and to the rest of Europe by Eurostar and the Channel Tunnel. By Bus St Andrews has excellent transport links, including the St Andrews Bus Station which is a short ten minute walk from the resort. The bus station operates services to Leuchars, Dundee, Glasgow, and Edinburgh as well as Eastern Fife. Guests can also get the bus to and from the Old Course Hotel stance on the A91, just a two minute walk from the resort. You can plan your journeys to and from St Andrews on the Stage Coach website. By Air Regular domestic flights (1-hour flight time from London) and European services to Edinburgh Airport. Regular service from London City to Dundee Airport (20 minutes drive). Transatlantic flights land at Glasgow Airport (120 minutes to the north). Private aircraft can land at Leuchars Airforce Base (5 minutes drive) by prior arrangement. Aircraft up to Boeing 737s can land here, and it is possible to have customs and immigration facilities. Transfers Our chauffeur service will be delighted to meet you at your chosen arrival point and can make arrangements for any onward connections. Please advise us of your travel arrangements at the time of booking.

St Andrews Cathedral dominated the history of the medieval church in Scotland from its construction in the 12th century until the Protestant Reformation in 1560. Scotland’s largest and most magnificent medieval church, the cathedral was the seat of Scotland’s leading bishops (and from 1472 archbishops). It occupied a site used for worship since the 8th century AD, when the relics of St Andrew, Scotland’s patron saint, are said to have been brought here. The cathedral buildings are surrounded by a graveyard, and encircled by the most complete and imposing monastic enclosure walls in Scotland. Even in its ruinous state the cathedral remains a prominent landmark, the focus of the three medieval streets of St Andrews, and highly visible from the sea.

Located in New York City’s founding neighborhood, Pier 17 is drenched in history. A stone’s throw from the Financial District and The World Trade Center, the area has more recently been synonymous with Wall Street workers and tourists visiting the 9/11 Memorial. But this summer changes all that with the re-launch of Pier 17 at the Seaport District NYC. Home to the Seaport Museum and the city’s largest concentration of restored maritime buildings, Pier 17 is being reclaimed for New Yorkers via dynamic food, drink, art, architecture, retail, and entertainment concepts that foster community and engage the city’s denizens, year-round. Pier 17 and the surrounding Seaport District comes out of its tourist trap shadows as its new tenants incorporate the neighborhood’s rich past, while embracing its future as a port of discovery. For history buffs, Pier 17 is one of the most interesting places in NYC. The economic growth of New York in the first half of the 19th century was driven by the Port of New York’s position as an import–export exchange and cargo center for emerging American and global markets. The Seaport and Pier 17 became a gateway for international shipping, maritime activities and the wholesale fish trade. South Street was known as the “Street of Ships” and the Wavertree, which is docked alongside Pier 17 to this day, arrived in New York City in 1895 en route to Calcutta with jute cargo aboard. The ship was acquired by the South Street Seaport Museum in 1968 and went through a 16-month, $13 million restoration. “These are the kinds of ships that built New York,” says Jonathan Boulware, executive director of the South Street Seaport Museum. A hub of commercial virtue (the finance, sea trade and printing press businesses were all located in this dense port) and accompanying vice (the area is home to some of the city’s oldest drinking dens, which played host to all manner of illicit activities back in the day), the Seaport was the first 24-hour district in New York, hence the phrase “the city that never sleeps”.

CANCELLATION POLICY  This policy pertains to the cancellation of the entire event.  1. Cancellation of the contracted programme on or before 12 months prior to arrival will result in no cancellation fees being charged.  2. Cancellation of the contracted programme between 6 and 12 months prior to arrival will result in a cancellation fee of 50% of total room revenue and 50% of the per person contracted food and beverage revenue and other services.  3. Cancellation of the contracted programme between 3 and 6 months prior to arrival will result in a cancellation fee of 80% of total room revenue and 80% of the per person contracted food and beverage revenue and other services.  4. Cancellation of the contracted programme between 0 and 3 months prior to arrival will result in a cancellation fee of 100% of total room revenue and 100% of the per person contracted food and beverage revenue and other services.   Any deposits paid will be used towards cancellation fees, to the extent incurred, as outlined above.  Attrition allowance for guestrooms, food & beverage and other services will not be used in the calculation of cancellations.
