關於我們
The Estonian Chamber of Disabled People is a national umbrella organization that brings together disability associations and unions across Estonia. Founded on 26 February 1993, we currently represent 16 regional boards of disabled people, 32 national disability-specific unions and associations, and 5 supporting members—amounting to a total of around 285 member organizations. Our members are legal entities whose membership and governing bodies consist of at least 51% people with disabilities or their family members. We do not charge any joining or membership fees. With sector-specific expertise in disability issues and a strong nationwide network, we serve as the main point of contact for matters related to disability policy in Estonia. Our active involvement in advocacy and policy development allows us to maintain a comprehensive understanding of the needs and challenges faced by people with disabilities. We aim to enhance the quality of life, social inclusion, and personal development opportunities for people with disabilities and chronic illnesses through advocacy, cooperation, and capacity-building. The Estonian Chamber of Disabled People offers 2 halls available for rent, ideal for hosting training sessions, seminars, lectures, conferences, receptions, and concerts.
