An oasis of peace in the renowned beach resort of Varazze, the Hotel El Chico is built in a Mediterranean style. It is immersed in a huge park of maritime pines and ancient olive trees that enjoys a splendid view out across the Gulf of Genoa from Portofino to Cape Noli. The hotel has a new conference centre, situated on the ground floor and with abundant natural light, consisting of modular rooms with capacity of 20 to 300 seats and equipped with the latest audiovisual systems, free LAN and Wi-Fi connection. The panoramic and peaceful position looking out to sea, and the large and elegant foyer with bar area, make this the perfect venue for use as show rooms, or for meetings or training courses. A large free car park is available for the use of guests of the hotel or the conference centre.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.

We figured if we’d have fun building and testing these Tourist Scavenger Hunts, you would also enjoy doing them. This new way of discovering a city via a walking tour with various challenges is a great way to learn about its history and discover its layout. Simple And Fun Each Tourist Scavenger Hunt is around 40 steps, 2-3 hours in duration on a 3-4km circuit which brings you back to the start.
