We’ve gathered the recent Cvent Conference product updates below into a brief summary to make it easy for you to see what’s new over the past month.

Additional Details View for 1-1 Meetings

We have updated the schedule view in Connect for 1:1 Meetings to be able to include details about the meeting such as meeting title, day, time, host, participant information and more!

Enhanced Exhibitor Hotel Sub-block management

Planners now can make hotel sub-blocks exclusive to exhibitors, at the registration code-level, and will no longer be required to have their sub-blocks be available to all attendees registered by the same exhibitor.

New Configurable Navigation Items in Registration

Planners can configure the navigation items on the left-hand side of Registration to connect to outside websites. You'll have the ability to configure this link to include specific user data that will authenticate the user into the third-party website.

New Proxy Registrant QR Code

Planners are now able to use a new email keyword that will include a QR code for use by proxy registrants during the check in process at the event.

Lead Scoring & Engagement now Available

Planners can now build rules that translate into a score for an attendee that can be provided to the marketing team. Marketing can then translate that score into actionable marketing opportunities that correlate to the score. Planners can also use this information to measure attendee engagement. Items able to be assigned values (positive and negative values) include Event Registration, Session Interests, Exhibitor Interests, Session Enrollment, Session Attendance, Exhibitor Lead, Conference Survey completion and Session Survey completion.

Phone Type Custom Field Updated

We have updated the phone type custom field to create consistency across all applications. The unified phone type custom field has a flag that pulls from the browsers IP address. This will help determine what the phone country field is to facilitate the entry of the phone number by the user.

Seating Availability in Seating Categories Panel

Planners using the assigned seating will now be able to visually identify how many seats are still available out of the total defined seats within each seating categories.

Mobile Connect Redesign Continues

We are in the process of redesigning the user interface and experience for attendees accessing content! The most recent enhancement we've released is Exhibitor searching, filtering, and sorting

What's next for Cvent Conference

Here are a few items our development team is working on for the future.
  • More Mobile Connect Redesign – Next on the list of mobile enhancements: Speaker list and detail view; Speaker searching, filtering, and sorting; and Global preferences and styling for filters, interests, and sorting.
  • Event Roles Tab Updates – Planners will have the ability to easily identify, add, or remove users as Exhibitor and/or Session Participants from within the user record.
  • Registration Limits Ability – Planners will be able to configure Registration Limits by arbitrary profile values and enforce those limits with checks when submitting the registration landing page, contact info page and reg catalog page.
  • Improved Guest Registration – Planners will be able to customize the information they capture from guests and/or proxy registrants during registration to ensure that they’re only capturing relevant guest information based on their involvement and participation in the event.
