Dane Risley
Dane joined Cvent in 2014 and brings more than 25 years of experience in sales, sales management and operations and more than 17 years in the meetings and events industry.
As Senior Vice President, Dane leads Cvent’s sales team in delivering comprehensive event management solutions to enterprise companies worldwide. In this role, his deep industry expertise and knowledge have helped drive Cvent’s sales strategies, increase operational efficiencies, and accelerate market growth.
Prior to joining Cvent, Dane successfully founded Woovite, an online ticketing registrations platform, and co-founded Channel:1 Corporation, a real-time event marketing data and lead management solution. His deep knowledge and first-hand experience of the meetings and events industry is what led him to join Cvent in 2014 as Vice President of Enterprise Marketing.
Dane earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Sacred Heart University (now known at the Jack Welch School of Business). He lives in Connecticut with his wife and three children.
