Cvent Named by Deloitte as One of the 50 Fastest Growing Companies in Virginia

MCLEAN, VA, October 21, 2008 - Cvent was recently ranked number 31 on the Deloitte & Touche LLP list of the fastest growing technology companies in Virginia. The "Deloitte Virginia Technology Fast 50" is an annual award program that ranks technology companies located in Virginia based on the percentage revenue growth over five years.

Cvent's Chief Financial Officer, Thomas Kramer, credits the achievement to having loyal customers, offering world-class products, and the efforts of Cvent's 400 employees over the last 10 years. "Cvent is honored to be included in the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 for Virginia," stated Kramer. "To be ranked 31 out of 50 fast growth companies in this hi-tech corridor is an outstanding accomplishment."

"Deloitte's Virginia Technology Fast 50 companies have shown the strength, vision and tenacity to succeed in today's very competitive technology environment," said Mr. Gary H. Tabach, Managing Partner for Deloitte's Greater Washington Practice.

"The 2008 Virginia Fast 50 companies are especially noteworthy this year given their remarkable growth in a challenging business environment. As a firm that works with many of the world's most successful technology and life science businesses, Morrison & Foerster is proud to be associated with the great companies being honored today," said Tom Knox, Partner and Co-Chair of the firm's East Coast and Europe Corporate Practices.

Winners are selected based on percentage revenue growth over five years from 2003 to 2007. To be considered, Technology Fast 50 entrants must: have operating revenues of at least $50,000 in 2003 and at least $5,000,000 in 2007; be headquartered in Virginia; be a "technology company," defined as a company that owns proprietary technology that contributes to a significant portion of its operating revenues; or devotes a significant proportion of revenues to the research and development of technology. Using other companies' technology in a unique way does not qualify. Subsidiaries and divisions are not eligible, unless they have some public ownership and are separately traded.
