Mid-July has brought a mix of news on the economy and how Americans are dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic. At the Tech Council, we’re striving to bring perspective to current events through the lens of what’s happening in the state, the Upper Midwest and beyond.
In that vein, we’re pleased to announce two upcoming events:
Our “Crossing the Coronavirus Chasm” series continues 1 p.m. July 28 with a panel discussion featuring experts from three of Wisconsin’s most familiar health-tech companies -- Epic, Exact Sciences and Promega -- who will discuss their collaborative efforts to fight the pandemic in Wisconsin and elsewhere. This is a rare chance to learn how these large companies worked together in urgent times, what they learned and what comes next. Please register here.

· NIST Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) centers are providing services to small- and medium-sized manufacturers such as connecting businesses that are pivoting their production in response to the coronavirus to new supply chains, connecting firms with state resources, advising companies on new operational issues, and providing workforce support.
