No Way Out Performance and ReceptionA professional staged reading at Su TeatroSunday, April 1, 2pmAt the same time ordinary and extraordinary, No Way Out by Susan Shear documents a family’s struggle to survive and gives insight into the stories of thousands of Jews who attempted to flee Germany during the Nazi regime. Generations: Survivor Stories Opening NightThursday, April 19, 5:30pmGenerations: Survivor Stories, a collection of digital stories about child survivors of the Holocaust, will become part of the museum’s permanent exhibit. Artist-in-Residency with Siona BenjaminMay 17, 18 & 20Siona Benjamin is a painter originally from Bombay, now living in the US. Her work reflects her background being raised Jewish in Hindu/Muslim India. Her paintings combine the imagery of her past with the role she plays in America today. Watch for details about Salon Night, The Art of Shabbat and a Creative Sundays Workshop with Siona.

Jewish Meditation with Rabbi Stephen Booth NadavSundays, May 6 & 20, 4:30-6pmMeditation is the practice of making ordinary moments sacred, or finding the sacred in the ordinary. Join Rabbi Steve to develop the skills of Jewish mindfulness including meditation instruction, chanting, walking, Torah and text study. All levels and backgrounds welcome.
