SickKids Substance Use Day Treatment Summer School Program
The Substance Abuse Day Treatment Program is a unique opportunity for teens who recognize their alcohol, or substance use has impacted their lives and are looking to make changes. The summer program offers a blend of therapeutic, individual and group support while students work on attaining an academic credit. The program runs from July 2nd to July 26th and offers:
  • Day treatment for teens who are looking to make changes in regards to their substance use using a Harm Reduction model.
  • Available for teens who have an adult to support them while in the program.
  • Those interested may attain a ‘Food and Nutrition’ Secondary School Credit with a Toronto District Secondary School teacher.
  • Access to health care and individual counselling.
