| | 'Tis the Season to Help Those Less Fortunate | During the MPI-CAC Holiday Party at the Hard Rock Cafe on December 14th, the Minocqua Area Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring a food drive to benefit the Greater Chicago Food Depository, whose mission is to provide food to hungry people and end hunger in our community. While we are collecting all non-perishable food items throughout the party, those that are in high need include beans, canned fruits and vegetables, cereal, peanut butter, shelf stable milk, soup, stew, and tuna. There are over 845,000 food insecure people in Cook County - please join MPI-CAC in making a difference for this important cause.

| | Nominate Your Peers for a MPI RISE Award | The RISE Awards (Recognizing Industry Success and Excellence) features seven annual awards in three categories: organizational achievement, individual achievement and community achievement. Recipients are recognized for innovation, global transferability, impact and influence. The 2011 recipients were recognized at the RISE Awards presentation on July 24, 2011 during MPI's World Education Congress. Submit a peer nomination by December 16, 2011.
