SickKids Centre for Community Mental Health (CCMH) Learning Institute is committed to ensuring a safe environment for trainees, facilitators, staff and visitors. We are actively monitoring the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and are following the guidelines and recommendations of the Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the World Health Organization (the WHO), Health Canada and the Canadian and Provincial Governments as this pandemic rapidly evolves.
In light of public health information on COVID-19, we have made the decision to postpone all training offered in March and April as we believe this to be in the best interest of our members and the broader community. All trainees currently registered in one of our March/April trainings will be contacted via email with specific details pertaining to their training. Please know that we are committed to finding alternate dates where applicable, and exploring on-line learning platforms to ensure your training needs are met.
Effective March 17, 2020, the SickKids CCMH Learning Institute building will close until April 6, 2020, staff will work remotely to continue to answer questions and support your professional development as needed. At this point, we are proceeding with the training programs starting after May 1, 2020; we will adjust any decisions accordingly as new information becomes available to us. We ask for your understanding and patience as we continue to navigate this situation with agility, transparency and always acting in the best interest of our community.
