Mekong Joe at the Aurora Fox TheatreShowing in AugustAn all-ages, dramatic and emotional live theater presentation of the true story of Joseph Tran Thanh Hai Wandell, performed by Joe himself. The story is a "living history" of an Amer-Asian boy, his escape from Vietnam during the fall of Saigon and a tearful family reunion. It's an evening of theater that speaks to our shared humanity. Jewish Meditation with Rabbi Stephen Booth NadavSunday, July 22, 4:30-6pmMeditation is the practice of making ordinary moments sacred, or finding the sacred in the ordinary. Join Rabbi Steve to develop the skills of Jewish mindfulness including meditation instruction, chanting, walking, Torah and text study. Drop-in class; donations accepted.
