Our fiscal 2014-2015 chapter year is off to a great start. So far this year, we have had several successful programs and roundtables, and I am looking forward to the many upcoming opportunities for education and networking as listed on the chapter website. Our Academic Relations team has also been active promoting our profession at St. Cloud State, St. Thomas, and Mankato, and also presented several Twin Cities IIA scholarships at these schools.

The Twin Cities IIA would like to recognize Glen Berryman, one of the founding fathers of our Chapter who recently passed away. Glen was the chair of the University of Minnesota accounting department for many years and was an avid advocate for internal audit education and curricula. He won several national professional awards, including the IIA's Leon R. Radde Educator of the Year Award.
The Minneapolis Star Tribune published an article detailing Glen's life and achievements.
